Maybe they're running some sort of script to do that. It's not something I've heard of but like Train suggests I'd probably stay away too. If, and I am saying if, they're running a script to disable ABP then it's not a huge leap to wonder what else they might be doing.
You could try temp disabling scripting to see if that does anything. You will need to do it manually in about:config..

The link is for FF29 but the procedure is the same for newest versions too. You can turn it back on by changing the toggle back to "true" by double clicking the entry.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb...f-java-applets. My menu takes me to this link to disable java script but when I go to add-ons as it says, I don't even have java platform on it. So I am really confused now.

That's Java. I'm talking about Javascript which is a totally different thing. Check out the link I made above to disable it.

The only thing on the options page is block pup up, font, colors, default font, and languages. I can't find Javascrip in any of the firefox menu items.

Type about:config in the address bar and when the config page appears type javascript.enabled in the search window. Double click that to change the value to "false" to disable scripting.
Double click it again when you want to re-enable it (to "true")

think I will just not enter PCH any longer. Chances of winning are zero to none anyway. If they can turn it off who else can?
