Access to a 2nd Domain
I am on a site where we have 2 different domains and IP Address for each of the servers. I am trying to map or gain remote access for A member of staff who needs access to the 2nd domain to obtain data from a folder held on the 2nd server, I have tried to map and been obviously denied but I wanted to know if there is a way to access the domains without joining them together.
Thanks for any advice

Method 1:
Have the user log in to Domain 2, copy the file to a folder on the local computer hard drive that both user accounts an access, then log out and log back in to Domain 1.
Method 2:
Set up the necessary share permissions between the 2 domains so that users logged in to one domain can access files on the shared folder(s) of the other domain.

You would need to set up a trust between the two domains. You didn't say what types of servers you have.
