USB 1 GB DRIVE
I am running win 98 on an old computer that I use for one program. My old 1 GB usb drive stopped working. It
is recognized by the computer but make a funny noise from inside of it. Is there anywhere I can purchase
a usb drive of 1 gb or more that will work on win 98? Also is there any way to get the info off my old usb drive?
That is win 98 second edition.

Clone it to a 1 GB flash drive using a USB adapter should do the trick.

If you are hearing a clicking sound from the failed drive that's the head impacting the platter. If that's the case the drive is dead & gone unless you're up for spending a few thousand dollars for professional data recovery. You can attempt recovery yourself for free using Speccy: https://www.piriform.com/recuva/download
