    Samsung ATIV Tab 3 XE300TZC-K01US

I have a family member who was using the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 XE300TZC-K01US tablet using my wireless wifi. I lost internet for a few minutes and then it came back. When we turn the Samsung table back on, it won't reconnect to my wireless wifi network. We didn't change any settings on my wifi network or the tablet. Any suggestions why the tablet can't get a wifi connection again when it had one just earlier?

No idea, but did you try to reconfigure the wifi connection?

You have to know the broadcast name of your wifi network and it's passwors.

I thought you had a wifi connection, so it had to be configured at least once. Go into settings/wifi. Make sure wifi is activated, then select the wifi entry broadcasted from you home modem/rooter. If you are asked a password, then enter the password of your wifi home network.

Also try rebooting the router if that doesn't work.

VirtualDr email notices are not working.

First, I tried unplugging my router and plugging it back it and to see if that would establish a connection on the tablet but it didn't. I am unfamiliar with win 8 that this tablet uses. I went to PC settings, then selected network. Under connections, it says wifi (not connected). I selected wifi and then it said choose a network to forget. Did I go into the correct settings?

I am using the asus rt-n56u routher. I went to 192.168.1.1 and typed admin (user) password (password) and it doesn't log into my config. Am I doing something wrong?

Also, how can I make sure that my router is configured so it's as secure as it can be?

The default user/password on that router are admin and admin.

For security, make sure your router is configured to use aes encryption.

Glussier, I just tried admin as user and admin as password and that didn't work either.

Then, probably somebody changed-it. If you can't find the current user/password, the only way to go into the router configuration, will be to reset the router.
