About Graphics Cards : A Query

I always find that when I can't find out whatever, I can usually find it here Thinking about a replacement pc for the bedroom TV. What I am presently using is a Acer Aspire AX300-U1322.
    specs:
    win7 premium 64bit
    amd x4 620 quad cpu
    4gb ram
    1tb hd
    9200 integrated nvidia geforce

    Thinking about:
    Dell Inspiron Small Desktop
4th gen Intel core i3 cpu
    win7 pro 64bit
    4gb ram
    1tb hd
    Intel hd graphics

The question is in regard to the graphics card. Is the Intel card comparable to the nvidia geforce 9200 ?
The reason for the replacement : newer model, bigger cpu & perhaps a better graphics card to watch movies etc. An overall improvement ?? Thanks .....

    PC Mag review here:

I don't think the graphics would be an improvement, and the speed would likely not be impressive either.

What model of i3 CPU is that? If you can get the model number, you can see if it has a HD4400 or 4600 GPU.
    http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/...processor.html

Then you can look for benchmarks against the Nvidia 9200 and the HD4400/4600.

Thanks for the reply Midknyte .. The processor appears to be a 4150. The Intel website shows only a 4160 which appears to use a Intel 4400 graphics card.. I didn't have any luck getting onto the pcmag.com website. It would show for a sec. then be covered up by some popup ad. God, I hate that ! Anyway, I saw this ad in the morning news paper : A dell ad listing this Inspiron Small Desktop for $379. Thought maybe it might be a good deal if it would be an upgrade from what I use now.... The pc is shown at www.dell.com/savenow
Once again I thank you for your time. Much obliged .

The Dell Inspiron 3647 has 2 memory slots. If you are thinking about buying this slim desktop, you should, also, think about adding another 4gB in the other memory slot. The reason being, is that the Intel graphic can steal over 1gB of your mean memory, and that running the memory in dual channel will also boost graphic performance by as much as 25 to 40%.
