BRILLIANT! I will try to do that this weekend...I'm having a nice little run here without being locked out. I've googled the messages...and I'm seeing that there are lot of people that have had this problem. no fixes yet.

Make darn sure the disk is clean and the lense cleaner has been used freshly too.
Those 2 have bit me a number of times from being dirty.

Alternatively, with the PC off and the optical drive open, use a barely-damp microfiber cloth (or, in a pinch, a cotton swab) to gently clean the laser lens. Plain water or isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) is best; don’t use soapy water, Windex, or similar liquids that might leave any sort of residue on the lens.

I am at my fathers place with my laptop and the thing is working fantastic! This blows my mind.

I have Acanac cable internet and achieve good speeds. So maybe i need help from you guys now with my ASUS NT router...
I will keep playing here and see if any issues but its starting to look like possibly a router issue. Still don't understand the wife not having problems with that site though.

Only thing I can think of that I've changed on my router lately is to turn the WIFI off.
Doubt thats it but ya never know thought i'd run it by you guys.
wonder if there is a way to reset the router and I dont mean by unplugging.

Still no problems at my dads.

Did you use the problem computer at your Dad's place, and if so, did it work OK? If yes and yes, then you have either a router or ISP problem.

As stated above yes I had my laptop at my dads and everything worked fine. Also I've noticed for whatever reason, videos from youtube and facebook were playing on it at my dads and they aren't playing at home. WTF???!

So we have now narrowed it down to either your router or network problem at home or to a problem with your home ISP.
