mac crash
My grand daughter at UW had her mac crash today, mid term tomorrow, i guess she took it to the Apple store to get it running, all i know, with a mac do you back up any where near the same as windows? Can you do a system image? She does a daily backup,
Just curious if i can pass any info on to her, i know nothing about macs. about 3 years old

I have used Ccleaner, mac version to clean up garbage and ESET® Cyber Security - Virus Protection for Mac The free version
http://www.eset.com/us/home/products...FccRMwodPiYAoQ
Uninstalled after the huge printout of what it found.
She probably needs to update her version to https://www.apple.com/support/osx/upgrade/ and there is a new Safari that ws just released. Probably qualifies for a free Yosemite upgrade.
