looking for software that can open and play back HDDVD..

I use Blue Ray.. and have a large library of blueray .. BUT I also have 36 HDDVD movies.. and about two years ago I bought and install a an LG combo player
BDVDRW GGC-H20L SCSI cdrom device .. I can playback my dvd's and BD okay but I need software for my HDDVD (toshiba) which was discontinued back in 2007 .. I was assured when I bought this combo player it would work .. I have already contacted PowerDVD and they said they discontinued the software for this to play back a number of years ago ..

advice ? or a name of some software that won't conflict with what I am using now on my windows XP computer to do this .... ??

both links don't help me.. these links are a number of years old and further investigation reveals the software has been either outdated .. or they don't support windows XP or you have to yet again buy another package that may or may not conflict with my current powerdvd software that works just fine ..

looks like I will have to carry the hdddvd product to another room and playback in my stand alone toshiba hddvd player ..

    Possible solutions:

    1. Run the needed software on the appropriate OS in a VM (Virtual Machine). That way it won't conflict with any other software and can run under the appropriate OS.

    2. Slowly begin replacing the HD-DVDs with Blu-Ray DVD copies of the same shows.
