[RESOLVED] Unknown Device
USB Root Hub (2 ports) - one of them says Unknown Device.
I've looked under Hardware IDs and it says 'USB/UNKNOWN' - which makes sense because if it knew it would be a 'KNOWN DEVICE.'
Everything was fine before I updated all drivers with Driver Booster. What next?
Thanks - rev

Well, seems the upgraded drivers Driver Booster found do not work, normal, so roll back to before you used that junk.
If it is working fine, leave things alone and Do Not break it.
And uninstall that junk.

I know what you mean but it wasn't working fine and Driver Booster did a great job on all the other drivers. I'll try to roll back.

Only a couple at a time aand take notes. That way you can go into device manager and roll just that device back.

That's exactly what I did. If a restart doesn't do it, I'll roll back and if that doesn't do it - I'll be back!

A restart appears to have fixed the problem, I'm no longer getting the error.

Seen a shutdown, wait 30 seconds and boot back up fix many a error.
