Pavilion dv6 does not come on

I have a pavilion dv6 and the battery is pulled. Power plug is in and the indicator light is on where the power plug is. When I hit the power button nothing comes on but the indicator lights on power button and the f12 button blinks together. No fan sound either

    That one works.

HP Consumer Support > Computer does not start and the LEDs blink or the computer beeps

If the LED patterns don't match anything at the posted links, you have 4 possible options for the problem:

    1. Battery is no good.

    2. Charger/power supply is no good (battery may also be bad as well).

    3. Plug where the charger/power supply plugs in is bad or has cracked solder joints.

    4. Motherboard is bad.

    Options to fix:

    1. Try a known good battery and power supply.

    2. Measure the voltage at the plug connections.

    3. Send in for repair. (If out of warranty, may not be cost effective.)

    4. Replace.
