How to get rid of typed entries?
I have some annoying entries that appear in a drop-down list on right-click, in pages that have a Search field. How do I get rid of them? I've tried clearing the Browsing Data but that had no effect. Some of the items in the list are definitely my typed entries but others are completely baffling, no idea where they came from.
Thanks - rev

What browser are you using? What is the url of the site? Which menu are you talking about?

The browser is Chrome though I suspect it's irrelevant because I think information is being recorded in the cookie for that particular site.
>Which menu are you talking about?
Place cursor in Search field and right click - selectable entries appear but this doesn't work in all sites, again suggesting the cookie is responsible
>What is the url of the site?
Sites with a Search field, though not all sites with a Search field

Did you look in the Privacy settings?
Try unchecking "Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar or the app launcher search box"
I don't use Chrome as my main browser, so I don't have any lists populated. That's why I was asking for a specific site.

Unchecking "Use a prediction service" seems to have done it. Thanks!
