We had some adware and some garbage.
    Nothing very serious though.

As i was trying to remove Chrome to reinstall it as per your suggestion, i seem to be unable to do so. When i go to the Add/Remove program and uninstall Google Chrome, i get a popup saying i must close all the Chrome windows, but strangely, that popup seems to be a Chrome window itself. I have rebooted the computer to be sure it is not on, but i still get the same message.

So at this point, i have no idea how to remove Chrome. Any suggestion?

Nevermind. I found where it was still running in the background.
I stopped it, uninstalled it and reinstalled it.
Still testing if it did fix the issues i had noticed.

Well, not sure if it is related to this but right now, i cannot click on a link in an email (i am using Windows Live Mail) to access anything. Clicking on the link does nothing. I have to right-click the link, copy the shortcut and paste into a browser.
Any idea if or how it would be related? I only noticed that since the cleaning.

Also, trying to install somthing for Anymeeting, i get this error message:
    Could not open key
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE32\SOFTWARE\MozillaPlugins\@cnw.com/cnwplugin.
Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personal

First, Mozilla is not my default browser. It was even closed.
Second, i tried to run it as administrator, with the exact same result.
Finally, when i installed it on my laptop, it worked fine.

Again, what would be causing that?

In this forum, we make sure, your computer is free of malware and your computer is clean
Because the access to malware forum is very limited, your best option is to create new topic about your current issue, at Windows section.
    You'll get more attention.

    Good luck

Thank you, I was not sure if it had anything with some of the cleaning process or not. I will post somewhere in that other section.
