    password protected system & QUICKEN:

Now that I have set up a password protected Quicken in my administrative account, can I just delete my links where I attenpted to password protect the entire system which I decided that I didn't need? How do I do this?

What links and where are they located? Also, which OS are you using?

On your desktop are the links leading you to a specific site or somewhere else. I guess I'm not understanding what you're logging into or on. Please explain in more detail.

OK, maybe "desktop" is the wrong word, I'm referring to the screen where a particular account is selected, the screen which follows boot up but before the desktop screen.

    You mean the LOGON screen.

You can't just delete the "shortcuts" on the logon screen. It sounds like you created other accounts. You would need to delete the accounts you created. That would remove them from the logon screen.

If you really want to keep the accounts, there is a registry hack to hide them from the logon screen. If you don't need them, you should delete them.
