[RESOLVED] OE issue

What Ho!

Using XP Pro sp3 and OE for e-mail. Same set-up for years and no problems. I have two accounts set up, ****@talk21.com and ****@ gmail.com.

Until yesterday, both worked as they should. Yesterday, gmail started asking for a log-on which is saved by default. Hit OK and it just comes back again. Nothing log me onto the account. Only way out of the cycle is to Cancel.

I have done a SysRestore but still not working. Any ideas what may have happened and how to get it all back again?

Go to Gmails web site and look up the settings - compare them to the account settings on your machine.

Thanks, very good idea. Didn't need to go to the set-up page since as soon as I logged-in, there was an ' unauthorised usage attempt' message. Changed the password to my a/c and in OE and all appears fine now.

Bette make another SysRecovery point.
