    Bookmarks Folder

I have a bookmarks folder ABCD on my Bookmarks tool bar that contains websites related to subject ABCD. I know how to move additional sites into that folder.

My Question: Is there a way I can also place WORD files into that folder?

I think you mean Firefox. You didn't say which version.

To move bookmarks to other folders, go Bookmarks - Show All Bookmarks. You can organize your bookmarks in there.

No. That is not an actual folder; it's only within the browser. The bookmarks folders are within the places.sqlite file in your profile directory.

I do not know if Firefox Bookmarks will work differently, but here is what I do to put an internal file (on the Hard Drive) into my IE Favorites.
I create a Favorite for anything (something I will not keep). I then delete the info in the URL line (address) and put the internal address for the file I want as a Favorite into the URL line. I then Rename the Favorite.
That Favorite containing an internal file works just fine. For example I created a .txt file and put it into Favorites using the above procedure. Windows automatically created the URL (address) for that file when I put the hard drive address (C:/Users/Username/Documents/Blank.txt) into the URL line as file:///C:/Users/Username/Documents/Blank.txt
