64/32 question
if I burn a dvd with all my documents and preferences ...just in case...
and than I have to get a new PC....certainly better a 64bit?..or not.... will I be able to transfer from dvd?

Good and maybe bad...
As long as the disc is not in some odd format, it should be fine for the documents. A Word .docx file for 32-bit Word works just fine on 64-bit Word.
Archived (backed up) preferences could easily be negatively affected if you migrate from 32-bit to 64-bit software as the programs may well be written quite differently.
