Remote computer booting to Safe Mode

The machine boots to Safe Mode because of a Blue Screen. The cause of the BSOD is not listed so what are the most likely suspects? I've removed two different types of audio driver and the owner is rebooting right now but if that doesn't work, what should I try next?

    Thanks - rev

Did you look for errors in Event Viewer?

System Restore works in Safe mode.

I did a System Restore to sometime last week and that fixed it. I have some orphans and residue to clean up but I think the problem is solved.

    Thanks!
