Now I can still copy from WORD to WORD (text +images) but if I try to copy 2 IE lines minutes are due ; for a page ....end in a bug

    Any idea ?

    Thanks

I cannot copy single or several lines on a GMail page. But if I click Edit|Select All|Copy I can copy the whole page. The formatting, however, is pretty messy.

Try resetting IE, it's working fine here:

(To reset IE, click Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > Reset... button. Select "Delete personal settings", click the Reset button and then restart IE).

When the "text" isn't really text — when it is an image/bitmap.

I find that I can copy/paste text from a GMail email message just fine. But not the text on the Inbox page (with the list of incoming messages).

    But that still weird

Because I can copy the whole SpywareDr post above (yesterday 7:25)

I suspect something related to gmail (I make copy from mails not gmail)

    Regards

Can you post a screenshot of a page, or a link to a page that you cannot copy?

    "But that still weird"

It may be weird, but that is the fact.
One way to copy pages of images that look like text is to use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software.

Jim is quite correct. A picture of a page is NOT the same as a page with text.

For example, if you open Notepad and type in:

    Hello VirtualDr Forum

you can then highlight that line with your mouse and then press [Ctrl][C] to copy it into memory.

However, if you press [Alt][PrintScreen], then open Microsoft Paint (mspaint) and press [Ctrl][V] to paste in the screenshot (picture) of that Notepad page, you would NOT be able to highlight and copy the:

    Hello VirtualDr Forum

that you see in the picture of that page.
