BIOS
I have a Lenovo G500 Laptop with Win 8.1. I recently made an image of my hard drive using ACRONIS software
and I made s bootable disc. The bootable disc will not boot up. ACRONIS says Win 8.1will not allow a boot up
unless I go into the Bios and set the CD Drive as the 1st bootable item. So I do I get into the BIOS in Win 8.1?

Having Windows 8.1 doesn't change how you get into the BIOS.

1. Start your computer. When Lenovo logo comes up, you need to immediately press F2.

Some Lenovos are quite different when attempting to get into the bios. Besides the typical F1, F2, F10, Escape, Delete or whatever, some Lenovos have a physical, separate button that allows you to boot into the bios. If memory serves, the little button on some models is near the power button. (A family member has a Lenovo that has the button.)
Hopefully something here will help!
