Unwanted Firefox add-ons
Hi there,
I have a couple of FF add-on that I have disabled but cannot uninstall / remove, because there is no 'rubbish bin' icon to do so.
They are Skype Click to Call and Freemake Video Converter Plug-in. I do have Skype installed, but infrequently use it and certainly don't through FF. As for Freemake, I installed to try it out and have found it totally useless.
How can I remove these from the Add-on list?
Thanks
Rex

Did you try uninstalling Click to Call from the Control Panel?

Did you uninstall Freemake?
Check if there is still a C:\Program Files\Freemake\Freemake Video Converter\BrowserPlugin folder and delete the Firefox Browser Plug-in folder. (or the whole Freemake folder if you already tried uninstalling)

Good stuff! I do use Freemake Video Converter but guess the FF plug-in comes as a default setting. The Browser/FF/ converter plug-in has now been deleted and gone from the FF/Tools/Add-on list.
As for Skye Click on Call, can find no reference to it anywhere; Control Panel, Add/Remove, Revo Uninstaller, or even an entry in Program Files. Must be a dll link within the Skype program. I can live with the Add-on entry but it does annoy menu.
Many thanks
Rex
