    I still didn't decide which SSD to buy. Can someone tell me which of the 2 below is the better choice.

    This is for a desktop, right? You'd need a 3.5" adapter for either one.

    The Mushkin is a bit cheaper. Performance-wise they should be close, because you don't have SATA III on that motherboard anyway.

    Midknyte, I appreciate the reply, as always. Yes, it is a desktop pc. I think I may go with the Crucial.

    I am still unsure whether to install this SSD as a dual boot or as you mentioned using VMware which I don't know much about. If I install it as Derp posted in this thread, do I physically have to go into my bios every time if I want to boot from the other drive than the one I currently as using or will it have a popup window that will ask you to select which drive you want every time you boot up?

    It would follow the default boot order in the BIOS. If you want to boot to the other drive, then you'd need to use the alternate boot menu (F12). That would be for a one-time boot to the other drive. It will not show a popup.

    So if the Win7 drive is your default, you'd have to hit F12 and choose the XP drive.
