    Resolved [RESOLVED] PrivDog

Today my Comodo firewall asked permission for several processes related to PrivDog...exe, located in the folder AdTrustMedia.

I do not know why I allowed them, as I have neither downloaded it nor know what is it.

    Was I right ?

PrivDog gets installed along with Comodo if you're not careful.

Before going to the next screen select the option in the lower left-corner called "Customize Installation". In addition you should select the small option near the bottom of the window that says "Customize Installer". This will give you the option to choose which components, and additional programs, you would like to install.

You can also uncheck the option to "Install PrivDog
    ..."

    Thanks for your answers.

It seems that I got Privdog installed during a recent update of Comodo. I was not given any option of what to install or not.

Anyway, as far as I can see, it should not do any harm, so I can live it installed.

Or should I uninstall it ?

I would uninstall it. I would use Adblock Plus instead.
