    What is Sophos good for?

On another forum, they recommended Sophos anti-v. But I already have an anti-v. It looks like Sophos runs along w/ your anti-v. Is it OK to have two anti-v on the computer?

Everyone has their favorite AV (anti-virus.) It can be for how it looks, how many resources it doesn't tie up, how fast it scans, how many tests it scores well in, ease of use and on and on.

The key to remember is that no AV is the one, best, perfect solution. And none are 100% effective at stopping all the nasty stuff out there. Best practice computer safety is more than just a program.

The right AV for you is the one that best balances all the things you find important. It's a good starting point...

No. You should only run ONE AV program. Running two simultaneously can cause conflicts.

Sophos doesn't have a great reputation either. I know this was over a year ago, but still.

It's ironic that Sophos is one of the 3 or 4 security companies most often consulted and quoted by the media in regards to computer malware threats and security but their product has rarely ever been considered as top tier protection.

VirtualDr email notices are not working.
