Heartbleed Bug
I have Windows 7, 64 bit. Has anyone heard about this virus entitled "Heartbled Bug"or malware? It suggests you change all your passwords on all websites you visit. This was announced on a local TV station. I would like comments or suggestions on this. I question it and have not done anything on my computer at this point. Your comments or suggestions on this would be appreciated.

DON'T PANIC!
the heartbleed bug only affects HTTPS (note the S) sites, and then only those using OpenSSL library. SC has no need for secure sockets, that's why the SSLLABS test was strange.
Done a bit more digging.

It's a server-side exploit. You don't do anything to your PC.
If the website you got to happens to use the older OpenSSL, THEY need to apply the fix first. Changing your passwords won't help if they don't apply the fix on their side.
If you're worried, you can look up a list of sites that either were unaffected or that have patched/fixed the exploit on their server. Again, you don't do anything on your PC.

I did this for a friend who is a very novice person. So I wanted the information before I did anything to my computer. Thanks for all the comments and information.
