    Question Unusual mouse activity

    Firefox/Windows 7 Home

    If I move the mouse from over the browser window to hover over the desktop, the little circle appears next to the mouse as if an application is attempting to start.

    I checked task manager & boot menu & there is nothing unusual there.

    This is day 2 I've noticed this & it seems to be affecting performance as well.

    AVG turned up clean as well.

    Sounds like avg is trying to scan to me.

    I checked AVG & it says it's trying to update but won't. What could be stopping it? Reinstall?

    Uninstall and reinstall would be the route I would try.

    Use the appropriate AVG remover tool..
