    Resolved [RESOLVED] Program Removal

I've decided that it's time to remove SuperAntiSpyware from my computer. I understand that it is not what it used to be, so think it's time to get rid of it. Therein lies the problem.

SuperAntiSpyware has an uninstall program, an executable. That gives me an error message.

MS "Add or Remove Programs" doesn't list it as being on my hard drive.

    Revo Uninstaller doesn't list it.

However, when I click on the desktop icon the program comes up, and asks whether I want to scan the system. Windows explorer finds it easily.

    I'm running XP/MCE SP3.

Is there any other option than manually deleting the files I find in Windows Explorer?

Have you done the obvious ?

Installed new version of SaS over top of old, rebooted, then tried an uninstall?

My thanks to Midknyte for the link, and to all who responded.

BTW: SAS uninstalled with no problem from the laptop with W8. Now to find the "Resolved" button.
