Missing Netflix Ap on startup page
I have seen numerous windows 8 start up pages ( tiles).. on other machines not my own ., and have noticed the big rectangular Red NETFLIX logo ..,
mine isn't there so I went into the 'drop down arrow' for aps .. and it is not listed .. then I went into the 'search' magnify feature and once again Netflix is not listed ..
Now I could and can just grab the netflick web address and drag it onto my desktop.. but was wondering how to add to ap startups... ?

Open Internet Explorer from the Start screen and go to the Web site you want to pin. Click the pin icon in the lower right-hand corner of the address bar, then select Pin to Start. YUou'll probably want to change the description to something shorter so it's not cut off at the end of the tile, then click the Pin to Start button.

the instructions of pin icon... this threw me off the rails ... couldn't find or navigate .. so instructions didn't work .. I ended up just dragging the url to my enclosed desktop within/ after the start menu.
