Thank you for the interesting article. I do use IE on the modern interface as they call it but it is better for only a select few sites and activities. The most ponderous feature is the immediate return to the desktop in order to view or print a pdf file. After it opens and and one is done viewing you have to click on the Start screen icon for IE Metro to go back to the page so it takes multiple steps, you start by opening the pdf file, this takes you to the desktop, you view print, then close the file on the desktop, go to Start, click on the IE Metro tile to go back where you came from. Other bugs, one cannot look up an address in the Outlook Web App without going to the desktop version. This is Microsoft's own web software mind you. I like having tiles on my Start screen for frequently visited websites, such as my bank account and work E-mail via the Outlook Web App as you go there in one click on the tile. Other wise things are more ponderous and take more clicks than any desktop browser one might care to use.
Mostly I use Chrome.
