Re: buying a new DVD Player
Hello all,
My DVD Player broke down last night, so I need a new one. That one was 20 years old, very old. So I want to know what features should I look for when shopping for DVD Player. Going out Sunday to look.
TV: Best Buy Insignia Flat TV
Amounts to spend -- up to $50.
What type of output/inputs? Resolution? Should I get a Blu-Ray or it doesn't matter? All my DVDs are non-blue ray.

I'd get a blu-ray player because then you would have the better of both worlds. Blu-ray players will play cds/dvds/and blu-ray. Connections depends on what connections you have on the back of your tv, if you have HDMI, I would suggest getting a player that also has HDMI on it. Course most players with HDMI don't supply the cable so you'd have to buy one of those too.
