Can you explain my internet speed?

the City is promo'ing a company Freedom pop which is giving free internet service. So I want to sign up, because right now I have clear @ $44.00 a month. Freedom pop is free to $14.99 a month. However, I don't want to lose internet speed.

    Here's what Freedompop offers:

Here's what clear offers for $44. (see attachment)
    From Jan 31 - March 29, I'm using 25GB of data? How do I figure how much data I'm using.Attachment 11347
And which deal is the best? Thanks.

(edited) I called Clear and here's how it breaks down:
    unlimited data usage 6mbps
    and my averages have been
    40GB Jan
    34GB Feb
    35 GB March
    25GB April

So it appears I'm using at max 40 GB a month. Based on the freedompop rates, should I go for the 10 GM- 8mbps @ 18.99?

If you are not to far from a tower 4G at $GB would be better. But I have used 4G and at times it can be irritatingly slow.

Here's what one person has to say about it..

    http://www.itworld.com/personal-tech...o-good-be-true

Looks like it may be good as a backup plan if your main provider goes down but it isn't free for the average user like you and me.. your useage graphs show that you use around 35gigs of data/month so the 500Mb they offer for free is pretty much nothing relatively speaking ( probably would cover your emails if you don't send or receive attachments) .. everything above that is extra plus the hardware you have to pay for.

His estimates of available speed is pretty low too.. 1.2 Mb down is not enough to watch medium quality youtube videos without a fair am't of buffering.

VirtualDr email notices are not working.
