    WiFi

    I have a Qwest Communications DSL and I have a question. If I did not use WEP how would I know who is using the WiFi.
    A curious question. I do use WEP and the thought came to me.

    Connect to your router first, it will be a url similar to this:

    Enter username and password, then go to where it says anything about "Attached devices, active devices, connected drvices..etc) It looks like this:



    That should do it, you can block the unwanted users if you are the owner of the router..

    Yes, change your router's password and remember you can always secure the connection with a WEP key if things get out of hands.

    Just saw this thread and felt it's worth mentioning that WEP is not something I'd consider for WiFi security. Hacking tools for it are on web. If you want/need to encrypt your WiFi, use at least WPA (and it all your devices support it, WPA2.)
