[RESOLVED] WinXP Mode
On my recent purchase of a new machine, I am unable to download/install WinXP mode. It appears to have all capabilities for XP mode, I see it listed, but not in All Programs.
They overdid my order;
Intel core i5 processor 3.4ghz, 6mb quad core
Asus P8B75-v LGA1155
16gb (4.4gb) 240 pin DDR3 1333mhz (pc3 10600) dual channel (more than I needed)
500gb 7200 sata
Intel HD 4000 1gb HDMI/dvi/vga 1080 pciexpress video (onboard) which I may later replace)
Realtek 10/100/1000 gb network card (onboard)
The sight I've gone to and followed instructions;
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/vir.../download.aspx
On that site I accessed and run steps 2 and 3, but to no avail. The following is what I see when I open the 'Everything' program.
[COLOR="#0000CD"]Download Windows XP Mode (... C:\Users\username\Favorites\Links 1KB 3/11/2013 9:57 AM (shown 3 times)
install-and-ues-windows-xo-m C:\Users\username\App Date\Microsoft\Windows\... 74KB 3/7/2013 2:28 PM (shown twice)
Am I doing something wrong?

One of the download files should be a 500MB file. Did you select the correct 32 bit or 64 bit download for your system. I would think you would have the 64 bit version of Windows 7 installed, so you should download the 64-bit version of the XP Mode files. Did you also download/copy the instructions and follow them?
