If it's a rewritable ("RW") DVD, yes it could be overwritten.
If it's a "R" DVD (no "W"), it can only be written to once.

I think you should confirm this before looking for a solution

What program or process did you use to create the DVD? Is it a video DVD for playback in a stand-alone DVD player, or just a data DVD?

I am pretty sure i have no software to do it, i thought maybe there is a way to copy it with a special software and then put a new title on a new dvd?
It is a dvd-8 xx, not re writable, it would have to be copied and re titled if there is such a way to do ?
It was finalized on the stand alone burner
tks

By "stand alone burner", I assume you are referring to a DVD burner that is NOT connected to a Windows computer. If that is correct, can we then also assume that the DVD burner is used to create video DVD's from some video source?
If these assumptions are correct, exactly what "title(s)" are you referring to? Are they captions on the actual video, or part of the DVD menu system, or something else? Have you actually checked the DVD to see what the "title" in question looks like? More information is needed in order to assist you with ideas for software to fix the issue.

Does "The title i entered when finalizing it" show up ANYWHERE when you view the DVD either on your computer or in a stand-alone player?

You will need to make an .iso file of the DVD, then use an .iso editor to change the title, and burn a new DVD from the edited .iso file.

I did ask you where the title was showing up. Now that we have an answer, we still need additional information. What is the make and model of stand-alone burner that you used to create the DVD? Was this created from a broadcast or cable TV feed?
