Email Hyperlinks not working

Hi Guys.

I am having trouble with my email. I use windows live mail and am on a windows 7 system. When I receive an email with a hyperlink or suchlike in it the link doesn't work anymore. Can some kind soul help me fix this annoying problem? I would be very grateful.

fiendish--Have you set up your browser as Default? In IE IE Tools|Internet Options|Programs tab.

If no help what happens if you copy the link, put the link into your brower's Address Bar and click Enter?

It sounds like this is a recent problem. Try a System Restore.

Hi JDC2000, Looking at the link you posted has solved the mystery. Firefox is the culprit, I very recently downloaded the update and this has somehow screwed things up shall have to have a look see if there is more information on the problem and how to fix. Thank you so much, never gave it a thought that the update could have been the culprit, never had trouble with Firefox in all the years I have used it!!

Thanks Welshjim for your post. Unfortunately, the couple of links that I have had recently have not shown the URL so have been unable to cut/paste them, but wouldn't expect any trouble and Firefox has not given any other indication of trouble.


If anyone knows of they cure for Firefox PLEASE, let me know!!!
