Moving shows from DVR to PC via eSATA or netork?

I have a Sony Receiver STR-DH810 with a Verizon Fio DVR QIP72322 going into the receivers HDMI input, and a Samsung TV going into the receivers HDMI output. Audio is a 5.1 setup.

    It all works great.

Now, I have some programs on the DVR that I would I would like to transfer to a PC to free up space on the DVR.

I have a good PC with i5 processor, 8800GTS graphics card, 4 GB of memory and an X-FI Titanium sound card.

What I want to know, is how can I get the shows on the DVR to my PC?

Looks like the DVR has a network cable plug, as well as eSATA.

Is there a way to copy record show via the eSATA, or network cable to my PC?
    Goin' fast....
