I was working on a document and turned to answer my phone (work computer) and when I turned back there was a box open listing two drives. So I clicked H/Drive, which is our main one, and when I hit okay my H/Drive was gone. When I go to open a document in Word Perfect the H/Drive is no longer in the drop down list nor in the my computer folder. Anyone know what the heck I did and how to retrieve it? Its on a network so I know the drive is still there somewhere.
If it is a network drive that is automatically connected at logon, the simple fix would be to log off and back on, or reboot the computer and it should reappear. Save a copy of your document(s) to your local drive first.
Thanks for the response, I had already tried that and it didnt work.. I figured out how to restore everything back to yesterday but I would still like to know what the heck I hit!
Chances are it was nothing you did. From your desription it sounds like a momentary dropout of your network connection that caused the problem. That could have been due to a network switch issue or other network connection issue.
