A couple of problems remain after Malware infection

Hi. I just spent the last 5 days in the Intensive Care Forum with Broni, ridding my computer of Malware/Foisterware infection. My PC is now clean and the thread has been marked resolved. He suggested I post here with these 2 problems:

This window pops up every 5 minutes or so, and has since the malware infection happened:
"Lenove ThinkVantage Toolbox has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

And when I try to use Mozilla or Firefox this comes up:
"FireFox/Mozilla is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing FireFox/Mozilla process, or restart your system. After several restarts this window still comes up.

    Hoping you can help!

I have an update for the above post. I tried the step-by-step instructions on the Mozilla Troubleshooting webpages--"Firefox is already running but is not responding"
First: was the "End Firefox's processes", which I could not do because the file "firefox.exe" does not appear in the Task Manager at all, therefore cannot "end Process."
Second: It said to remove the profile lock file. It's not there either.
So then I performed a "Check Drive for errors". Computer is running a little faster, but still no Firefox.
Third: Found the Profile folder okay. I don't "file-share", and the read-only is unchecked.
Fourth: Troubleshooted the Plug-ins. Husband suggested uninstalling Java and Adobe Flash Player, which I did. Have not reinstalled.

So that's where I left off with the Firefox problem.

As for the Lenovo thinkVantage Toolbox, I uninstalled it. Problem solved.
