    Force Field Shared Folder

    Hi there,

I recently installed the current, free version of Zone Alarm. Although it is doing what it says on the box, I'm not sure that I like it as much as the previous versions. However, it comes with an empty folder, created in My Docs called Force Field Shared Folder.

I have been Googling this and find that it should not be there if I choose not to install the same named toolbar. Is there any current workaround for preventing this folder constantly replacing itself?

    Thanks

    Rex

Thanks for the link. When I installed the current version of ZA (only because it includes a anti-virus rather than using AVG) I selected the 'Don't Install Force Field Toolbar' option. So do not have the toolbar but the folder constantly re-appears in My Docs and always empty.

The information further down the page regarding removing Force Field without reinstalling ZS, is typical software providers useless information. If I open ZA, I do not have a Browser Security button on the left side and under all the tabs available, nowhere is there a Enable Virtualization check box.

Oh well, may just back to the older version and AVG.

Good call; I'll ask there and post if there is a satisfactory reply.

    Thanks
