I also went back to single drive (SSD) and did a benchmark on that to compare to RAID 0.
I know everyone recommends to go single drive but on single drive, it cut down the performance by half. So, I went back to RAID 0. If the SSDs go bad, I will just toss them. Too much of a performance lost on my part. I snapshot a picture of it too but apparently forgot to transfer when I reinstalled Windows.
Here is the spec to the SSDs (for others):
Western Digital SiliconEdge Blue
SSC-D0064SC-2100 2.5"
64GB SATA II MLC
Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
And just to clarify on the test above. Truecrypt has two type of encryption for the system (OS) - Drive or Partition. I tested both but the above results are from drive encryption. What does this mean? If the drive has several partitions, Truecrypt will encrypt all partitions along with it and only requires one password. It treats those partitions as they belong to the drive.
Encrypting on a drive level is more convient but less control then encrypting individual partitons (which is a different topic). If you would like to understand more, please let me know.
The biggest question I had when encrypting on a drive level; will Acronis True Image see the individual encrypted partitions. The answer is YES. Which means good in my book since I can make an image of just the OS partition.

One more thing about the encryption. It was encrypted AES which is the only allowed encryption for system partition through TrueCrypt. Had TrueCrypt allowed to encryp the drive with cascades (Twofish, Serpent, AES), performance would further decrease.
I also would like to add for single SSD, Sequential Read (Non-RAID and No Encryption) only reached 176mb for this SSD which is consistent with the specs that NewEgg listed could reach 250mb.

Is there a program that can test the type of memory that I have? Crystal Info gives information about the hard drive and SSD. I am too lazy to take the memory out of the computer. I put it in about 2 years ago and forgot what I put in. I only take it out every 6 months for cleanning.
