Netgear N150 wireless router ~ drops connection

Have a router with an issue of dropping connection after a time usage. Router is in another room maybe 20' away from PC... I know there many reasons for dropped connections. Hoping someone with the same router has had the same problem. PC is new ....HP model unsure

Replace the antenna with a higher gain one, and monitor the eletrical voltage to the router. It does not take much of a drop to cause the router to latch up and it will take a powercycle to get it working right again.

    May help.

A latch up, may have real slow or no internet connection.
Power cycle the router. To do that:
Reach in back and unplug the power,
    wait 30 seconds,
    Plug power back in.
when back up, test the internet.

I have to do that to my modem and router a few times a year. Very common for that to happen. Why I use a UPS [Uninteruptable Power Supply] so I do cut down on the number of latch ups during the year. Voltage drops are what gets me most of the time.
