I just ran sas for the first time in awhile and 10 cookie threats "labeled as" were listed, microsoft apps data roaming low one is below, what does it refer to? i removed them. if this should not be posted please remove it
tks
They are tracking cookies which allow websites to see what sites you've been to and what products you've looked at, what ads you may have clicked and perhaps what purchases you've made (all anonymously). They are about as low as you can get on any threat scale so I wouldn't be worried but in general I delete and/or don't allow tracking cookies out of principle and minor privacy concerns.
Spywareblaster is a nice little freebie program that blocks most tracking cookies in IE and Firefox and other threats in IE as well.
It would seem so. I would think that some not too distant spywareblaster update will take care of them. In the meantime try going into FF options>privacy>show cookies and see if you can manually delete them. Some cookies are a little more persistent than others in being deleted.
Would FF show the "roaming" cookies if they were there? Apparently the last update i did on FF i did not check the cookie section and it was not set at delete when i close FF.. Went to sleep on that one
any financials i do are always with FF, also, once in awhile i get re directed and if it comes to IE i copy and paste the link back into FF and close IE

If you're getting redirected to sites you aren't expecting then you may have some form of adware on the computer. Another occasional symptom is a cookie or cookies that won't delete.
FF will show all it's stored cookies and IE will show it's own as well but not each others.
My words probably misleading, if a link is set to open with IE which some sites are in downloads, or a link as such, it will open in IE, i close it out and reopen it in FF,
Presently i can't specify a site that has happened but it has, why?
Cookie present in FF is WOT, until i delete it, non others all are cleared on closing
