This is annoying. We have two user groups, one uses simple rules, and one more complex. When attempting a password change, users needing the complex paasswords are given errors based on the rules for the simple password. This is extremely confusing to users. I'm betting this has come up somewhere before. Any ideas on getting correct error messages to the different user groups?
Thanks for the info... this seems to explain the setup. I'd think the error message would be automatically correct based on the rules for each group, but only one error message is being generated - incorrect for the group using complex passwords.
