    Yes.
Example, use Firefox with a add-on such as Easy YouTube Video Downloader.
    Cheers.

I have the best solution, Google 'Freecorder' and download, automatically saves any video you watch on your computer, also record any sound that is played through your computer, by far the most useful thing I have ever downloaded. It has other features, but haven't personally looked into them.

Before you do, you might want to read this:

It appears freecorder comes with some bad nasties.

I personally havn't had any problems with it in regards to adware etc, but of course use your own judgement.

I've been using the Ant video downloader with Firefox for a few months. It works quite well with most streaming video sites incl Youtube. I do turn off the options to send downloading stats etc for privacy reasons. It also has a version for Internet Explorer but I've never tried it.

    http://www.ant.com/video-downloader

It saves most videos as MP4 and occasionally as FLV both of which can be viewed with VLC Videolan player.

    Thanks fink.
Just tried it for a few hours.
That is a nice add-on for non-YouTube sites.
    Cheers.

    You're welcome.

I've rarely found any video streaming site where it doesn't work. I've also found that it usually downloads vids at a faster rate than they stream.
