controller host standard pci to Usb .....working fine
controller open host ali from pci to usb................fine (4of them)
    HUB USB.........................................................fine (4..)

I tried to auto update drivers ...and it says that there isn't a better driver than those

I can't get why is not possible to copy/paste from MS utilities

    thanks

Go to Device Manager, remove all USB entries and reboot the computer.

what are you trying to use in the USB port(s)?
    Maybe 'it' needs a driver

I tried to use all kind of things in there and nothing works : memory, camera, mouse.
by remove you mean disinstall all those 8 voices that open when you click in the DM USB ?
    and than reboot?

Yes--that will re-install the drivers, what you have now may be corrupted.

There should be no need to "reactivate" anything--see if your problem is gone. If it's still there someone smarter than I will be along to help you.

ok,,,, before I back away (also)

Concentrate only on the USB ports on the back.
They should be built on the motherboard. The ones in the front can be questionable on any PC.
Did you check in the BIOS and see if they set to legacy,,, and/or enabled?

In windows XP, I usually see it as legacy. Try both.
The only other thing I have seen is the dreaded (always sounds like a cop out),
V word. Virus. Virus issues can disable USB ports to stop you from bringing a fix into the PC.
    Good luck....
