Resolved [RESOLVED] Changing appearance of screen that appears after clicking START button

On my pc with XP -- when I click the Start button I get a screen with two columns. The left column shows several of my icons (Firefox, WORD, etc.). The right column lists several folders: My Documents, My Pictures, My Computer, et.al.

My question: Can I change the items in the right column or is it it fixed? If I can select new items, please tell me how to add my Downloads folder to the top of the listing?

    Thanks.

Right click on the Start Button and select properties. You are limited with what you can add to the right side.

You can drag the download folder to the left side..
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Right-click the Start button, choose Properties, then you should see a Start Menu tab and a "Customise" button (I'm on Win7 at the moment, so it may be slightly different, but it's in there somewhere). In there you can add the Downloads folder to the Start Menu.

Another option would be to add a Downloads folder link in the Quick Launch bar.
