Folder says empty
I have a HP laptop with Vista.
I made a new folder under C: and draged in a few files and folders. When I try to open the folder it says it is empty. However, when I right click for properties it says there are 130MB, 67 files and and 3 folders. What's going on? Can I get the contents back?
Thanks for helping.

Folder says empty
I followed all the instructions for Take Ownership. I repeated many times without succes. It appeared that I had complete permission. Finally I went to control panel/folders and options and checked Show Hidden Files and Folders. That worked. Everything appeared.
Why did this happen and how can a folder be made not hidden?
Thanks

To unhide the files and folders, select/highlight those that you want to change and right-click on the selection and select Properties. Uncheck the Hidden attribute. You can also use the command line interface if desired.
