    Windows "Help & Support" not working...

    Hi!
    Windows Help and Support is not working. The window comes up, I enter a question (any question regarding computer stuff) and even links that take me to "Help and Support" and this message is always the answer;
    "Help Topic Not Found"
    This content under construction. We were unable to retrieve the requested topic.

    I just noticed it this week so I'm not sure what happened to cause it. I have updated all the recent Windows stuff, so maybe you know. Thank you!

    There is no such thing as overkill. 'Open fire' and 'is it dead?' are the only sane options when threatened.

    I tried Method 1. Ran the "sfc / scannow", and this message came up:
    "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations." So there was no need to try Method 2. right?
    Tried Method 3 and got nowhere. I could not find where to to set the Startup type to Automatic.

    Attempted this again today;

    Method 3:

    To resolve the problem, Start the Help and Support Center service and set it to Automatic. Follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, type Services.msc
    2. Double-click Help and Support
    3. Set the Startup type to Automatic
    4. Start the Service

    Went to do #2 and "Help and Support" is not listed! It is not in the Services window. Could this be the problem? If so, how do I get Windows Help and Support back?
    Thx!

    Used the Lockergnome fix and was able to add Help and Support back into the Services list. Went to start it and this message came up;

    "Windows could not start the Help and Support service on Local Computer.
    Error 126: The specified module could not be found.

    The Lockergnome fix corrected the missing registry data, but the file the actual executable service program file is likely missing from your computer.
