[RESOLVED] Recover addresses from Word 2003 Glossary
Hello,
I am helping a friend setup a new computer. He was using Windows XP with Office 2003. He is now going to Windows 7 with Office 2010.
He uses a template for letters called aaletter.dot. When you launch aaletter.dot on his old computer it brings up the letter addresser. You can then choose Glossary and pick a name and it fills in all the pertinent information for that person. I know where aaletter.dot is and I moved it to the new computer. I don't know how to find out where all those names are stored from the letter addresser. When I launch aaletter.dot on the new computer it says "The macros in this project are disabled. Please refer to the online help or documentation of the host application to determine how to enable macros". I can probably figure out how to enable the macros but I can't find where to save the glossary addresses from.
Any help would be greately appreciated.
Thanks

Enable the macros, then look through the code. The addresses may be hard coded, or there may info showing where they are located
Enable Macros:

That worked great. I guess all the addresses are already in aaletter.dot.
Thanks so much
