    Windows 8--run box/OfficeXP

Windows 8 cleverly removed the familiar and useful run box. Press the Windows key and R and there it is. And, FWIW, Office XP installs and runs fine and Outlook 2002 works with no problems.

    Run is there.
In the metro window move the mouse down to the bottom of the window and right click. You will see an icon " all apps"
Click it and scroll to the far right side.
    There you will see RUN

Yup--you found it. I mostly stay in Desktop mode so the Windows key R is handy for me.
