Help With Choosing Freeware SQL Database
Hello Everyone,
I am hoping I can get some good advice from people savvy in DB software. Basically, I would like to download and install a free version of a SQL Database, such as one of the various flavors of Microsoft SQL Server, or perhaps MySql, which I hear is still available as freeware.
I only wish to use the DB software on my stand-alone desktop PC, however I don't want to short-change myself, in other words I hope I can make use of full-fledged procedural and script capability.
Can someone please offer some suggestions on this topic so that I can make an intelligent choice?
Many, many thanks in advance.
Josef

Hello SpywareDr,
Thank you for the info. It was helpful to me and I appreciate it.
I wanted to sign in to the Forum sooner but somehow I couldn't get in -- possibly the site was down, I don't know.
Anyway, thanks again.
